Our Mission
"To foster a passion for cricket in our community by providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for players of all ages and skill levels. We aim to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal development through competitive play and community engagement, while preserving the rich tradition and spirit of cricket."
History
The Carnegie South Cricket Club was formed in 1927, known then as the Carnegie Traders. The first secretary was Arthur Tinsley.

The prestigious Best and Fairest Award - The Ward Medal - is named after Harry "Cappy" Ward, famous in the Caufield District Cricket Associateion from 1912 to the 1970s. Cappy started playing with the club in 1932 serving as captain, opening bat and wicket keeper. He became club President in 1968.
