Juniors

BLAST  (6-8 year-olds)

The Blast program will run on Friday evenings, from mid-November to mid-February.

We initially thought this might run Saturday mornings but the popular opinion is that most parents prefer Friday evenings.

Blast is run under a Cricket Australia format and will cost $99 per child, including a personalised home-delivered pack from CA.

Under 12s  (8-12 years old)

The Under 12 matches will all be on Saturday mornings.

These matches are run by Carnegie South Cricket Club in the SECA (South East Cricket Association) and will cost $176 each.

Games will be played from mid October to the end of February.

Seniors

As is usual now, all player registrations are being done with the PlayHQ system and it now records all match and player statistics, ladders etc.

So EVERY player must register with PlayHQ before taking the field. We have kept our subscription prices down and well below many other clubs in our area. It is great value for money, when you consider the many days and hours of play in a season.

There are 3 registration pages, one for SENIORS, one for JUNIORS and one for the Cricket Australia Blast program for young kids.

Within SENIORS, there are 3 different types of Senior membership.

  1. FULL membership. Most senior players fall into this category. Cost of $230 plus $42.50 in CA/SECA fees

  2. STUDENT membership with a $50 discount compared to FULL membership. Must be a full-time tertiary student to qualify

  3. JUNIOR membership - a young player < 18yo who is not playing in a junior team with our club

When registering, select your membership type and proceed to the checkout. Whilst at the checkout there are 2 valid “voucher” codes that may be entered to reduce the fee payable.

The first code is for Life Members and others who are not obliged to pay the club component of subs.

The second code is a “3 game membership” and is available to those occasional players who do not expect to play more than 3 games for the season. I’m looking at you Bruce Houghton, Mick Arabena, Geoff Mason etc. The code will reduce the Club component from $230 down to $80.

You may obtain these voucher codes by messaging Ian Nash or Peter Kemp.

Note that ALL senior players, regardless of their membership type, are obliged to pay the $42.50 CA/SECA component in order to be registered and insured.

At the checkout you can select a payment method, credit card being the most popular. But if you have a valid Paypal account, you can choose to pay by Paypal and even avail of the Paypal “pay in 4” option. This spreads your payments out by instalments over the ensuing 6 weeks. This may help your cash-flow!
